Welcome to the Chemeketa Community College Latino Scholarship Gala’s new website. This website highlights the accomplishments of Chemeketa Community College in promoting higher education to economically disadvantaged Latino/a youth.
Join us for our Second Annual Chemeketa Latino Scholarship Gala “Empowering All Latino Students” to be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Keizer Reniassance Inn & Conference Center, we are expecting more than 300 participants.
Our hope for the Gala is to empower and celebrate the accomplishments Chemeketa Community College Latino/students while serving as a primary scholarship fundraising event, honoring Hispanic Heritage Month.
The Chemeketa Scholarship Gala will provide an opportunity for the corporations, organizations, and individuals to invest in the education of the fastest growing ethnic population in the State of Oregon.
The Chemeketa Latino Scholarship Gala will become an annual event where the Latino community in the State of Oregon will come together to celebrate the students and community contributions.
